30-day risk-free trial policy
We’re so convinced you’ll love working with our sit-stand desks that we decided to offer you the chance to return your desk within 30 days from the ship date if you aren’t satisfied.
Use your new sit-stand desk, work on it, play with it, test it, show it to your friends and colleagues… all in the comfort of your home or office for 30 days. If you don’t love it, we’ll take it back and refund 100% of your money.
We fully understand that shopping for a desk online is tricky, this policy is our way of allowing you to try our products risk-free. We make it even easier and more convenient than trying it in a store.
Please note that our 30-day satisfaction guarantee is only applicable on our sit-stand desks. It does not apply to all our other products.
All exchange or refund requests must be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org before the end of the 30-day period. Upon approval of the return, we will send you a free return shipping label (see how to step by step detailed below).
It's important that you keep the original packaging (or its equivalent) after unpacking your desk, since the warranty is only valid if the desk is returned undamaged. Please note that there’s always a risk that the table gets damaged during shipping. To make sure that the desk wasn’t damaged during shipping, take pictures of the product (in and out of the packaging) before shipping it back with a carrier. In the case it is damaged during shipping, we will be able to be 100% sure that the damage only occurred then.
The refund will take place 5-10 business days following the reception (under the conditions mentioned above) of the desk at one of our fulfillment centers. It will be executed in the same format as the initial purchase.
1. Custom orders (custom desks) are final sale, they are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
2. Please note that the 30-days satisfaction policy is not applicable to ergonofis’ accessories.
If you decide that your ergonofis desk isn’t right for you within 30 days, the return process is easy:
- Send us an email at email@example.com and be sure to give us your order number, full name, your direct phone number, the reason for the refund, and the receipt of your purchase.
- Simply pack your table in the original boxes (or its equivalent). Make sure to take pictures of the product in and out of its packaging and send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. This step will protect you from any damages that can happen during the shipping process.
- Once the return is approved, an authorization code and free return shipping labels (apply them to each boxes) will be sent to you. We will then schedule a pick-up with the carrier at your location (we will take care of your return shipping costs ;)). If you live in Montreal, you can also come drop the item at our offices to receive the refund faster.
- You will receive a full refund 5-10 business days following the reception of your desk. It will be executed in the same format as the initial purchase.
Please note that the return policy is defined by the following process:
The demand to return a product that does not have any manufacturing defects. If your product has a manufacturing defect, please consult ergonofis warranty page.
Please note that if a product is received with extensively damaged packaging at reception, you need to refuse it from the carrier. It will be sent back to us! In the situation where the packaging is undamaged, but the product is, please send us pictures in the hours following the unpacking and we will trigger a return process and ship you a replacement item.
Please note that all our product sell as demos are final sale.
Return policy on ergonofis sit-stand desks after the 30-day satisfaction period
At the end of the 30-day period, there will be no returns allowed on our sit-stand desks. For additional information on our satisfaction guarantee, consult our satisfaction warranty section.
Chairs and accessories
15-day return policy on ergonofis chairs and accessories
We accept returns for chairs and accessories that are sent back to us in perfect condition (not used) and in their original packaging (or its equivalent) 15 days after their reception. All return requests must be sent to email@example.com with a picture of the product and your invoice number. Upon approval of the return, you can send us the accessory back (see how to step by step detailed procedure below).
Chairs or accessories that show marks of normal use or any custom chairs or accessories cannot be returned and are deemed to be final sale.
Please note that ergonofis does not refund the shipping costs and it's the customer’s responsibility to pay all freight charges to return the item. Ergonofis is not responsible of damage done during the shipping process. If the chair or accessory is damaged during shipping, you will be responsible for filing a complaint with your shipping carrier. To avoid any problems with the carrier, we advise you to take a picture of your item before and after it has been packaged.
How to proceed when you return a chair or an accessory
- Send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and be sure to give us your full name, the reason for the return, your order number and the receipt of your purchase.
- If the product is deemed to be returnable by ergonofis, you will have to package the product with the same packaging* (or its equivalent) you received it in and have it shipped to us at our business address (370 Guy street, suite 218, Montreal, QC, H3J 1S6 Canada) or visit one of our showrooms by emailing your availabilities to email@example.com. We highly suggest taking pictures of the item in and out of its packaging in case any damage is incurred during the shipment process. As previously mentioned, ergonofis does not cover the return shipping for accessories.
- Make sure that your packaging is secure to ensure that the product is received without any wear and tear. Be aware that any damage during shipping needs to be covered by your carrier. ergonofis is not responsible for any damages than can occur to accessories during the return shipping process.
- When we receive your product and we deem it to be in the same condition it was sent to you, you will be refunded in full in the same method of payment used during the initial purchase.
If the product received is damaged by normal use (not seen during the initial picture process) and not caused by the shipping carrier, ergonofis keeps the right to issue a partial refund. The refund will be issued in 5 to 10 business days after the reception of the product at one of our fulfillment centers.
